Run of the mill comedy/mystery involves kidnapping, spiritualism, false identification, and the theft of some valuable diamonds. It's not too bad, but looks like it could have been directed by anybody, least of all the great Alfred Hitchcock. Sadly, this was the Master of Suspense's last film.
