Four people investigate a haunted house. Intelligent ghost story and psychiatric case study all in one. Low key by todays standards and the character of Eleanor is fairly annoying unfortunately but I defy all the hairs on the nape of your neck to remain seated during the performance. Filmed in England and if you pay attention when Eleanor first drives her car you can espy a British Bobby in the background. The 1999 remake is very badly bungled despite production design to die for. |
