A doctor who planned to recreate life using the methods of Dr. Frankenstein escapes from jail and seeks revenge on the man who put him there in the first place. This process leads him on a journey in which he encounters Count Dracula, the Wolf Man and the Frankenstein monster.

Universal followed this up with House Of Dracula a year later.
