Steve McQueen's last movie is one of his best 'lesser known' films, released just three months before the star's untimely death in 1980. The "king of cool" is a modern-day bounty hunter in Los Angeles, trying to juggle his life between his job and his heavily pregnant girlfriend (Kathryn Harrold). Whilst also trying to contend with hunting a dangerous fugitive (stuntman Thomas Rosales Jr.) and enduring death threats from a recently released criminal (Tracey Walter). As a point of interest, the REAL Ralph 'Papa' Thorson appears in the film in a cameo as a bearded barman. |
