Hammer turned briefly away from the horror genre for this space western concerning the nefarious schemes to obtain a sapphire laden meteor. I don't think I realised that this is basically the forerunner of UFO and Space 1999 even down to the funky coloured wigs sported by the lunar folk.
Severely dated, creaky, cheesey and rather enjoyable despite it all. A sneaky DVD exclusive to Best Buy released on July 29th, 2008. |
