Beware the beat of the cloth-wrapped feet! ~poster Archaeologists discover the remains of Egyptian prince, Kah-to-Bey, but in disturbing the tomb and re-uniting the corpse with mummified remains of his protector, Prem, unleashes the latter on a mini mummy rampage. Somewhat dull Hammer mummy offering, rehashing the usual tropes. The quarry standing in for the Egyptian desert is particularly cheap and nasty. Catherine Lacey has always played this role in my mind and along with Roger Delgado are the films redeeming features. Maggie Kimberly's fairly modern miss makes a nice change from the usual screaming and running and it is a pity this is but one of three roles she ever took. |
