A film whose sympathy resides with the monsters of Midian and the humans are far more depraved. Doesn't quite achieve the granduer of Barker's source novel, but a fabulous try at something very unique.

Hopefully the special edition version will appear at some point as an hour of footage was shorn from the run time apparently.
