| The murders which caused a lonely motel to close down many years ago suddenly start up again when the owner, recently released from a mental institution returns home. Perkins' directoral debut is satisying enough, albeit with the gore element stepped up considerably. Some witty dialogue too; "there's more life along this road now that there used to be" See also Psycho (1960), Psycho II (1983), and Psycho IV (1990). |
