British agent is sent to West Berlin to investigate rumors of a resurgent Nazi movement, a mission that has cost two of his predecessors their lives. How can he find the mysterious organization, and who can he trust?

Interesting film that is sort of an anti-spy film, almost post-modern in a way (and surprising considering it was made at the height of the Eurospy craze). This is thanks to Harold Pinter's literate and witty script. It is also almost too slow for its own good, also thanks to Pinter's script. Segal, as always, is an acquired taste, but the movie rewards repeat viewing and an alert audience. The sequence where Quiller tries to avoid a horde of menacing, unspeaking men is a highlight of the genre.
