| Chemical formula's, industrial espionage, the slave trade, bungling police, the kitchen sink, all are up for grabs in this frenetic comedy. Title refers to the private detective agency who seem embroiled in all facets.
Written by Graham Chapman and John Cleese who promptly disassociated themselves from it and hide behind pseudonyms on the credits. Maybe one laugh if you can survive the stereotypes including Spike Milligan as a curiously plum coloured Arab type. Great cast, though. Note: I cannot find a release date for this film but know it was playing at the Watford Odeon from December 23rd, 1972 double billed with Go for a Take. |
