| As with Silence of the Lambs, the police procedural becomes horror-thriller in this extremely stylish and genuinely chilling effort from David Fincher (who is currently working on a new serial killer movie). Pitt is a bit dim and the whodunnit aspect is thrown out midway through, but the modus operandi of the killer provokes revulsion and one of the best "boo" moments ever. |
