Scientists create an alien from a DNA template from space. It gets loose. Scientists recruit assorted civilians to track it down.

Exploitational Alien rip-off is enjoyable thanks to a distinctive alien (designed by H.R. Giger), a great cast and oodles of gratuitous violence and nudity.
Alas some of the CGI at the end, while state of the art in 1995, seems a tad awful today.
