Film Dope

To Live and Die in L.A.

William Friedkin
Director

Two ambitious and slightly dumb cops take on a master counterfeiter. Very stylish, violent, brightly lit film noir (?) with one of the best car chases on film and a great soundtrack by Wang Chung. Recommended for the testosterone crowd and people who want to see Gil Grissom's derriere.

-The Sloth

The car chase is indeed great, but putting the aforementioned Wang Chung on the soundtrack does not exactly make the film timeless...but you know, everybody have fun tonight. :P
