| A television commercial director (Fonda) finds comfort in the form of the drug LSD when he begins to suffer from a personality crisis. For anyone who has never dabbled in the illegal taking of drugs (like myself) this film may appear to be somewhat baffling, confusing and just down right strange! A film which was repeatedly rejected by the British censors until finally being released in 2004, some 37 years after it was made. Incidentally, Jack Nicholson wrote the screenplay. ~ The Lord Producer/Director Roger Corman once said he never had a trip he didn't enjoy. So here we go with a kaleidoscopic head fest. Drop some acid and enjoy he said in a disapproving tone. ~ The Sloth |
