| Worthy attempt to film Richard Adams' rabbit-infested take on Lord of the Rings. The introduction is superb, as are John Hurt and Zero Mostel, but the whiny voices of Roy Kinnear and Richard Briers soon become tiresome. Read the book (and play the Art Garfunkel song in the background if you must). 10/07/2008: Haven't worked out yet what makes this 'Deluxe' version deluxe... |
