| The 9th full-length feature from Laurel & Hardy, and what many consider to be their finest movie; Stan and Ollie are assigned to deliver a deed to a gold mine for a young woman in the small western town of Brushwood Gulch. But having never seen the intended recipient, they are tricked into handing it over to the wrong woman by the owner of a saloon. When they realise their error they stage a plan to retrieve the deed and see it safely into the hands of the rightful owner. This film is best remembered for their song, The Trail of the Lonesome Pine. Followed by Swiss Miss (1938). |
