| Interviews with assorted in faces of '67 plus assorted musical footage Fascinating look at swinging sixties London with assorted vapid types pontificating on life, the universe and everything. Perhaps a visual confirmation to the adage that if you remember the sixties, you weren't there. Interviewees include Michael Caine, Julie Christie, David Hockney, Andrew Loog Oldham, Alan Aldridge and Lee Marvin. Footage includes Vanessa Redgrave preaching politics and John Lennon getting an eyeful of Yoko Ono's art (although I'm now convinced it is not Ono doing her "Cut" routine). Some footage also shows up in other Peter Whitehead projects to the point where I'm not sure what was in the original film... |
