Disney's 37th animated classic, the most costly to make, is the revisualizing of the orphaned boy who grows up in the jungle and befriends the animals therein. Although certainly no classic by any means, it does boast some beautiful artwork and detail to design, along with a sustainable soundtrack from Academy Award-winning composer/singer Phil Collins.
A straight-to-video sequel followed in 2002, Tarzan & Jane.
