Portmanteau of live action cartoon-noir.
1. The Customer is Always Right In which a hit is accomplished. 2. The Hard Goodbye In which a fellow revenges himself for a lost love 3. The Big Fat Kill In which a new boyfriend protects a his girl and escalates a war. 4. Yellow Bastard In which a righteous cop protects a small girl Comic book-meets-film-noir in a stylish violent fusion and with an all-star cast to boot! From the same sort of Tarantino mentality as Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, which means, for me at least, that while extraordinary and visually stunning, this is a film I couldn't love. Extended version includes an extra 20 minutes and oodles of commentary tracks. |
