| Third installment in the gruesome SAW series. A terminally-ill Jigsaw enlists the help of Amanda (the junkie from the first two movies) to kidnap a nurse to aid him in his dying moments, and if she refuses he will kill her. Meanwhile, a grieving father is given the opportunity to confront the man responsible for his sons death by way of overcoming a serious of obstacles which will ultimately result in the death of others. Two versions of the film are commercially available on DVD: the standard 'Extreme Edition' and the 2-disc Director's Cut which is approximately 6 minutes longer. ~ Lord. Third assault on the sensibilities from the Saw stable. This one features much more gruesome torture stuff than its predecessors, but the fomula is becoming a little worn. ~ The Sloth. |
