| Will Smith pulls off the performance of a lifetime as pseudo-last-man-on-Earth, Robert Neville battling the things-that-come-out-at-night. Film almost makes it to classic status, but is let down by all-too-obvious CGI creatures (like Darabont's The Mist) and an ending that doesn't feel right. Richard Matheson's book still has a far, far better resolution. |
