A small commando unit pulls off a payroll robbery and make off in a twin-engine cargo plane towards Mexico with $3.5m. However, one of their members becomes greedy, chucks the loot out and parachutes down after it hoping to claim the small fortune for himself. Under the cover of darkness he lands in a field full of murderous living scarecrows who soon kill him and prepare a welcoming party for his colleagues, who are close behind.
