Shield coerces an assortment of super heroes to band together to thwart Loki's dream of world domination.

Joss Whedon comes through with the goods in this rip snorting comic book melange, chiefly because it is funny in the right places. Only problem, common to these films, is that villainous hordes tend to the ineffectual.

In a movie full of superheroes with super-powers, the one person that stood out most to me is the old German guy: Loki: Bow down.
Old German: Not to men like you.
Loki: There are no men like me.
Old German: There are always men like you.
The bravest man in this film is the normal human being who won;t bow down. A good point to remember.
