Stan is thrown out into the street (literally) by his landlady after he cannot pay his rent, where he ends up being robbed by a villain (Hardy). Along the way he befriends a dog who will not leave him alone. He later ends up at a dog exhibition and goes home with the owner of a poodle.

Black & white silent short film which is famous for being the first time Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy appeared in the same movie. As a bonus, they appear together in the same scene when Hardy lattempts to rob Laurel at gunpoint.
There is some dispute over the year of production. depending on which source you believe it was anywhere between 1917-1921.

The uncut version runs for 24 minutes.
