| An eager young female reporter is making a documentary at a Los Angeles fire department when the alarm sounds and she goes along for the ride to cover the action. When they arrive at the emergency to assess the situation the authorities quickly seal them inside the building with the sick tenants, who are spewing up all over everything and everyone. Nobody knows what is going on as the desperate people look for a way out. The entire movie is seen from the perspective of the cameraman (a technique which has long outstayed its welcome now to the point of it being boring, unoriginal and bloody irritating); it's messy, it's dark and it's gruesome....it's also silly. A remake of the Spanish film [•REC]. |
