Silent four-reel comedy featuring Stan Laurel as a bullfighter named Rhubarb Vaselino (you gotta love those old silent comedies when you could get away with that sort of thing!). When he successfully takes on three bulls in competition, he is offered a chance to become the local hero when he travels to Madrid to continue his career.

Some prints of the film are quite badly damaged, with some running short at only 26 minutes. I was fortunate enough to work with the full 39-minute version.

The title of the film is a reference to the film Blood and Sand, which was made the same year.
