| Three teenage girls crash their car en route to a music festival, and are rescued by a good samaritan who takes them to the nearby isolated mansion in the woods where he is employed. But as they begin to recover from their injuries, the girls realise the occupants of the home (a sinister looking woman and her slightly disturbed elderly mother) are not as friendly as they first appeared and it isn't long before they are being stalked by a maniac who has a heavy breathing problem. Unfortunately the lead actresses are unconvincing, and what gore there is seems to be rather tame in comparison to what was around at that time. One of the several movies which fell foul of the notorious Video Nasties list in the UK back in the 80s. The ban was finally lifted in 2002. |
