A terrorist bomb is detonated on board a luxury cruise ship on New Years' Eve, causing the boat to overturn, killing most of the people on board. A small band of survivors then make their way through the vessel to reach safety before she sinks to the bottom of the ocean.

Overlong tv-movie re-working of the famous movie (which it bares only a mild resemblance to), which first aired on NBC on November 20th 2005.
