Our 4-wheeled friends become involved in a spy conspiracy as Lightning McQueen takes on Francesco Bernoulli in The World Grand Prix. Larry the Cable Guy's Mater character to the fore along with Michael Caine's British agent in this least-of-the-Pixar animations. Remember though even 2nd tier Pixar is still miles ahead of the competition. Sillier than its predecessor, but bright, colourful and with exciting action sequences. They may be trying for significance with their alternate fuel conspiracy plotline but that gets lost in the melee. |
