Good atmosphere and acting (from Hopkins and Gastini), are thrown away in this rather tepid horror film clearly hamstrung by purporting to be a true story and a PG-13 certificate. I feel as the bar has been set by Messrs Friedkin and Batty, if you are going to do an exorcist movie you might as well pull out all the stops.
