Drifter finds a job as handyman at a mansion occupied by three mysterious sisters, one wheelchair bound, one with a deformed hand, and one with nymphomania. Amidst the ensuing psychosexual tension, a serial killer shows up and begins killing blonde women, leaving their blue eyes floating in bowls of water.
It may be a Spanish film set in France, but this is most certianly a giallo, and a pretty good one at that. It's well-paced, the murder scenes are well-done (though perhaps not as wonderfully stagy as Argento), and the ending is a nasty surprise. The performances are good, as well, especially Lorys, and for once the English dubbing is fairly competent. What's not to like? There is a scene of real pigs being slaughtered that might offend people who either have never been on a farm or who don't want to know where their bacon comes from, but other than that, a fine example of Spanish horror.
