The Revenant

Alejandro Iñárritu
Director
20th Century Fox Film Corporation
Studio

Man seeks revenge for, well everything, really.

Extremely bloody and extremely beautiful look at men making eachother miserable.

Too many hairy trappers and a script that changes all the names he said in defence of his lacklustre vidcapping.

-The Sloth

Funny how a film supposed to portray man's inhumanity in a bad light seems to revel in gore. But that seems to be Iñárritu's leit motif. Or amybe it's what a mediocre director does to distract from the flaws in his films. And Iñárritu is definitely one, regardless of what the Academy thinks. Go watch Man in the Wilderness instead; better film, better acting, better direction.
