Man seeks revenge for, well everything, really. Extremely bloody and extremely beautiful look at men making eachother miserable. Too many hairy trappers and a script that changes all the names he said in defence of his lacklustre vidcapping. -The SlothFunny how a film supposed to portray man's inhumanity in a bad light seems to revel in gore. But that seems to be Iñárritu's leit motif. Or amybe it's what a mediocre director does to distract from the flaws in his films. And Iñárritu is definitely one, regardless of what the Academy thinks. Go watch Man in the Wilderness instead; better film, better acting, better direction. -Dave W. |
