| American airborne unit is dropped into a French village to knock out a German installation on D-Day. The nefarious nazi's have something unpleasant in the basement. Cheerfully old fashioned horror that starts with such a spiffy (if inaccurate) recreation of WWII that makes me yearn for a sensible historical war film instead. |
