As the Trotters prepare to celebrate Christmas together, an unexpected guest turns up...Del & Rodneys father; and it is not long before he is causing problems between the two brothers when he casts suspicion over their irregular blood groups.

Due to health problems this was the last appearence in the show for actor Lennard Pearce, who died shortly after this series was completed.
