Templar befriends an American tourist in Rome who is promptly kidnapped. It turns out she is the daughter of an American governor. Her abductor is a exiled gangster, who has a deal for the governor: the life of his daughter in exchange for a stay of execution for his brother, who is due to ride the electric chair very soon. Decent but somewhat predictable episode, highlighted by Mitchell's weaselly cabbie and Burke's mother, mourning for her sons' lost souls. -Dave W. |
