Mr. Heckles, the neighbour downstairs dies, and leaves all of his worldly goods to Monica and Rachel, who then argue over possession of a tacky lamp. Meanwhile Phoebe manages to insult Ross over her theories of evolution, prompting him to provide evidence to satisfy her. Chandler, fearing a life alone calls up his ex Janice, only to discover she is now pregnant and married.
