Compressed subliminal advertisments called 'Blipverts' have a nasty side effect on some subsceptible TV viewers. Investigative reporter Edison Carter wants to know the real story, but the network he works for has good cause for him not to know. Pretty good start to the series. it looks a little dated (those huge camcorders), and British fans are still complaining America ruined a great British short film, but the cast is great (except for Bryce-he makes Wesley Crusher look charming), and this is really the first exposure to cyberpunk most of us got. |
