Film Dope

In 1718, Governor Rogers arrives at his new post in the Bahamas. His first job is to clean out the pirates. Rogers first attempts to do this via a royal pardon. Unfortunately, some of the pirates (led by Blackbeard) don't wish to be pardoned.

Enjoyable introduction to the series, with a nicely droll performance by Clunes. Margo's New Yawk accent creeps into his dialogue, though, which can be slightly distracting!
