A large group of dazed people find themselves stranded on a desert island along with the remnants of the aircraft they were traveling in which crash landed there on the beach.

As the survivors patiently wait for help to arrive, some of the group help others with their injuries, which include a heavily-pregnant young woman and a doctor who needs a D.I.Y. stitch in his side....and what is that making the trees move?

The first of a two-part pilot episode which launched one of the most popular cult tv shows in the States.
