Sawyer is not on the top of everybody's best friends list after he gives Boone a good hiding for rummaging around in his personal belongings. Upset with this and the news of the attack on Sayid, Jack challenges Jack to a fight on the beach. Later Kate confronts Sawyer to return the medication he has stolen from Shannon and is met with a bribe that he wants a kiss first. As the frustration mounts over Sawyer's reluctance to give the medicine back, Sayid proposes to Jack a way to make it happen.
