Locke is determined to open the hatch he has found in the jungle, and with the help of Boone they set off on a journey to find something big enough to do the job. We are treated to a touching back story of Locke meeting his estranged father and how he was duped into giving up a kidney in order to save his life. Back at camp, Sawyer is getting frequent headaches, and after a few intimate Q&A's from Jack it is determined that he needs glasses.
