When Claire becomes concerned about her baby being unwell she seeks help in Danielle who leads her and Kate to the bunker where Claire was previously taken by Ethan in order to gain the medicine required. Henry Gale, the man found in the jungle and suspected of being one of The Others is still being held in the hatch by Locke and it is evident he is not seeing eye-to-eye with Jack over who is supposedly 'in charge'; a matter further highlighted when Ana-Lucia speaks to him about wanting to talk to the new prisoner.

This was the first episode to show the character of Alex, Rousseau's long-lost daughter.
