Michael's missing time at the camp is explained as the episode navigates between the present day and the last fortnight with him being captured and taken by The Others to the other side of the island. It is explained to him that he must deliver Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Hurley to their camp in exchange for the release of Walt and their freedom. When Michael asks them for their help, Sayid becomes suspicious of his intentions. Ana-Lucia and Libby are buried.
