Beautiful blondes keep getting murdered in Marseilles. All were nightclub entertainers at a club owned by a creepy guy who makes dolls modeled on his girls. The Ghost Squad sends two operatives to work the case from different angles. Effectively creepy episode that, with its plot and Nicholas Roeg's suitably atmospheric camera work, resembles nothing more than a prototypical giallo, right down to the second string American lead. Would have been nice if someone had told Wolfit how to pronounce "Marseilles" though! -Dave W. |
