Bing Crosby's Merrie Olde Christmas

Wednesday, 30th November 1977

Christmas special featuring Bing's family and a curious hookup betwixt Bing and Bowie singing Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy. Bowie also gets to do Heroes on his own. Lashings of Ron Moody and Stanley Baxter doing their thing, probably to the bemusement of the US audience. Bing ends with White Christmas - as he should.

An ATV/ITC production and Bing's last screen appearance aired posthumously on Christmas Eve 1977 in the UK and Nov. 30th in the US.
