In the case of the Charles H. Schneer/Harryhausen collaborations, the whole film package, the scripts, the production values, the glorious technicolor, the music with Harryhausen's effects the icing on the cake, if you're of a certain age and saw one of his films in the cinema it will have left an indelible mark.
