2001: A Space Odyssey

1968

Stanley Kubrick
Director
MGM
Studio

The legend has overtaken the movie...Still there's still the ultimate movie computer HAL, Strauss, still unrivalled special fx and some food for thought. The antithesis of modern movie making - you have to let this one flow over you. Warner have done a superb job of cleaning this film up for its current 2 disc loaded edition with oodles of good extras. Highly recommended, but there are those who can't stand it, work it out for yourselves.
