A group of lakeside summer campers find themselves stalked by a badly disfigured ex-camp caretaker who has returned to seek revenge for a practical joke gone wrong. Mediocre horror slasher when the genre was at its peak. Very reminiscent of similar flicks such as Friday the 13th, this does have a half-decent plot, a good soundtrack and some great cinematography but the whole thing runs out of steam about half-way through. Possibly the best of blood soaked horrors that followed Friday the 13th. Oodles of graphic mayhem (provided by Tom Savini). Holly Hunter and Jason Alexander in the cast and a good score from Yes keyboardist, Rick Wakeman. ~ The Sloth. |
