Trio of tales from W. Somerset Maugham, who pops up to introduce them Alfred Hitchcock style. The first concerns two brothers, one a successful(-ish) business man and his ne're do well sibling. The second a garrulous spinster on the razzle aboard a cruise ship and the third the romantic ups and downs of a daredevil act.

Can't say I'm a fan of the author, and the tales, not whimsical enough to entertain and with nasty undecurrents.
