Under the cover of darkness, an escaped masked killer stalks three teenage babysitters in the small (fictional) midwestern town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween night. A masterpiece in suspense-horror from an incredibly multi-talented director (Carpenter, who not only directed, but wrote the screenplay and music too). ~ The Lord Truly terrifying. Alas, to me, not scary anymore - I've seen it too many times. Sit back and admire Carpenter's skill in audience manipulation. A classic. ~ The Sloth |
